Our Whipped Shea Butter is created from Fair-trade unrefined shea butter from Ghana, Africa. We add Lemon & Vanilla essential oils with a small amount of unrefined golden jojoba oil to aid in whipping. Then we whip the shea butter until it is transformed into a light and easily applied butter. Since we do not want to change the natural structure of the shea butter we do not apply any heat and this retains the vitamins that are naturally present, this is also a reason there may be a grainy texture while applying the butter, these are small pieces of shea butter that will melt away and be absorbed into your skin while applying the product.
